A fitted, floor-length dress that follows the body to the knee and then opens out — the shape people mean when they say fishtail. The bodice is worked in embroidered beading, and the V-neck and bare shoulders keep the whole thing from feeling heavy.

It is built for the occasions where photographs get taken: prom, a black-tie evening, an engagement party, or as a beaded bridesmaid gown when the brief is floor-length and formal. Seven colourways run from a black beaded fishtail gown through to white, so a full bridal party can be dressed from the same style.

Choosing a size

Sizes run S to XXL. This is a close-fitting cut, so if you fall between two sizes take the larger one. Measurements are taken by hand, with a tolerance of about 3 cm.

Care

General guidance for beaded fabric: hand wash cold and inside out, or have it dry cleaned. Lay flat to dry, and do not iron over the beading.
